What Is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, sometimes called a liquid nose job, uses small amounts of dermal filler placed precisely along the nose to change how it looks in profile and from the front.

It works through a quirk of how the eye reads shape. Adding a little volume above a bump creates a straighter line, so the bump stops casting a shadow and effectively disappears. Placing product at the tip can lift a nose that droops slightly. A small amount at the bridge can give definition to a flat profile.

Nothing is removed. The nose does not get smaller. What changes is the line your eye follows, and that is often enough to transform how balanced a face looks.

Treatment takes about fifteen minutes, you see the result immediately, and you can go back to work the same afternoon. Compared with surgical rhinoplasty — general anaesthetic, weeks of swelling, a permanent and irreversible outcome — it is a very different proposition.

It is also the single highest-risk treatment in aesthetics, and we want you to understand that before you book. The nose has a dense blood supply with limited routes for blood to travel. Filler placed carelessly can block a vessel, and in rare cases that can cause tissue damage or affect vision. These complications are rare, but they are serious, and they are almost entirely a function of who is performing the treatment.

This is why we treat it differently from everything else we offer.

The nose is unforgiving. Experience isn't a nice-to-have here, it's the whole treatment.

OUR TREATMENTS

Why Safety Comes First Here

Assessed and treated by the same clinician.

Your consultation, your assessment and your treatment are carried out by an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with over 25 years of clinical experience. There is no handover between a consultation and a treatment, and no external prescriber who never meets you.

Reversible products only.

We use hyaluronic acid fillers, which can be dissolved if there is ever a need. Permanent fillers have no place in the nose, and any clinic offering them should be avoided.

We will decline if you are not suitable.

A previous surgical rhinoplasty, significant existing filler in the area, certain skin conditions, or anatomy that carries elevated risk are all reasons we would say no. We would rather lose a booking than take an avoidable risk.

Emergency protocol in place.

The clinic holds the dissolving agent on site and the practitioner is trained in managing vascular complications. You will be given direct contact details and clear instructions on what to look for and what to do.

Post-Acne Marks

The flat red or brown marks left behind after a spot heals respond well. Indented scarring is a different problem and needs microneedling.

Rough Texture

Skin that feels gritty or uneven rather than smooth usually improves noticeably after two or three sessions.

Your Appointment

What Happens at Your Appointment

The consultation is longer than for our other treatments, and it is free. We look at your nose from several angles and in relation to the rest of your face, particularly your chin. A surprising number of people who think their nose is too big actually have a recessed chin throwing the profile out of balance.

In those cases, chin filler alone sometimes achieves what they came in for, and we will say so.

We take a full medical history, discuss any previous nose surgery or filler, and explain exactly what is achievable for your anatomy. You will also be told plainly what is not achievable, because this treatment cannot make a nose narrower or smaller.

If we proceed, numbing cream goes on for twenty minutes. The injections themselves take ten to fifteen minutes, placed slowly and in very small amounts, with careful technique throughout.

You will be shown the result in a mirror before you leave. A follow-up is arranged for two weeks.

Results and Aftercare

How Long It Lasts

Between twelve and eighteen months for most people. The nose moves less than the lips or the lower face, so the product tends to last well here.

The result is visible immediately, with minor swelling settling over the first week.

Honest expectations

  • It can straighten and refine. It cannot make your nose smaller.
  • A significant hump may soften considerably but not vanish entirely.
  • A very wide nose will not be narrowed by filler.
  • If your realistic goal is reduction, surgery is the honest answer, and we will tell you that rather than take your money for something that will not deliver.

Aftercare

First 48 hours:

Do not press, rub or massage the nose

No glasses or sunglasses resting on the bridge

No strenuous exercise, saunas or swimming

Sleep on your back if you can

Avoid facials or any pressure on the area for two weeks

Mild swelling, tenderness and occasionally light bruising are normal. These settle within a few days.

Seek urgent help if you develop increasing or severe pain, if the skin on or around the nose turns white, pale, grey or mottled, or if you notice any change in vision. Contact us immediately on the number we give you. These events are rare, but recognising them early matters, and we would always rather you called unnecessarily.

Common Questions

Answers to the questions clients ask most often before treatment.

Does it hurt?

With numbing cream, most people find it very manageable. The bridge is less sensitive than the tip. It is brief.

In experienced hands, with reversible products and proper protocols, serious complications are rare. But this is a higher-risk area than anywhere else on the face, and that risk depends almost entirely on who is treating you. Ask any practitioner about their training, their experience with this specific treatment, and whether they hold the dissolving agent on site. If the answers are vague, go elsewhere.

No. Filler adds volume, it does not remove it. It changes the line and the proportion, and the result is often that the nose looks more refined — but nothing is being reduced. If you want a genuinely smaller nose, that is surgery.

Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved, which returns you to your starting point over a few days. This reversibility is one of the main advantages over surgery.

Usually not. Surgical rhinoplasty alters the blood supply and scar tissue in the area, which raises the risk significantly. We would need full details of your surgery and would often decline.

The same day. Avoid glasses resting on the bridge for 48 hours, which is worth planning for if you wear them daily.

No. This is a purely cosmetic treatment. Breathing problems are a structural issue and need an ENT surgeon.

Price reflects product volume, practitioner experience and the clinical setting. Be cautious of anyone significantly cheaper than the market, particularly for this treatment. This is not an area to shop on price.
